Goel Ganga Group celebrates Safety week at Ganga Dham and Ganga Altus in Kharadi, Pune

Pune : The Goel Ganga Group held the opening ceremony for the 52nd annual national safety week as part of their Zero Harm campaign at their Ganga Dham Towers location on March 4th. There was a Chief Guest List that included Mr. Pathrudkar and the entire Fire Team. To begin, Nilesh Pote introduced the Chief Guest, Gajanan Pathrudkar (Safety Officer, Fire Station Centre Head, Bhavani Peth, Pune).

The Chief Guest, Pathrudkar, then performed a spectacular flag hoisting ceremony after he had welcomed the guests and lit the Ceremonial lamp.

The whole Fire Team received Safety Week Badges from Vinit Dudhe, Dinesh Biradar, and Akash Sawant. Pathrudkar gave a talk at the event, during which he discussed topics like fire safety education and PPE use on construction sites (PPE). On that day dedicated to promoting safety, he gave a speech. Viren Kusurkar addressed the topic of Safety Day and raising awareness of dangers. A poem that addressed the issue of security was also read. Our Goal Is No Harm was the topic of discussion.

“The primary objective of this event was to showcase protective measures and make sure individuals are cognizant of them and follow them in order to prevent workplace accidents,” said Atul Goel, MD, Goel Ganga Group. and stressed the significance of educating people on fire safety measures, evacuation plans, and drills to reduce fatalities. Every contractor in the country should join this effort, which is why I’m advocating for it.

Pathrudkar also detailed upcoming activities, such as a competition for an emergency response team (ERT) within the work fire safety, fire hazards, firefighting methods, extinguishers, etc., as well as awareness sessions on fire safety in individual units and the provision of group mentoring in this area. The Fire Demo should begin. Rescue workers showed how to use a damp cloth to put out a fire. Snacks were distributed to all of the guests, employees, and staff.

On March 11, 2023, the Closing Ceremony commenced with the guest being greeted. The ceremony’s chief guests were Tarush Atul Goel, Sarvesh Mishra, Suvarna Pawar (PSI), and Liladhar Bharate, followed by the kindling of the Ceremonial lamp as well as a speech by them. The event went off without a hitch and went successful.
