ETO Motors and AWPO Help Ex-Servicemen Become Micro-Entrepreneurs
ETO Motors Private Limited has partnered with the Army Welfare Placement Organisation (AWPO)
Hyderabad: With the goal of empowering and providing sustainable livelihood opportunities to veterans, war widows, and widow wards, electric vehicle (EV) industry leader ETO Motors Private Limited has partnered with the Army Welfare Placement Organisation (AWPO), a trusted provider of placement services to ex-Army servicemen. By signing this MoU, both parties agree to do everything they can to help our nation’s heroes achieve their goals and live happier, healthier lives.
ETO Motors, a leader in the electric car industry, seeks to expand the job opportunities available to veterans beyond the traditional security guard and gun man professions into which they generally transition. The fundamental goal of this partnership is to enable retired veterans to become economically self-sufficient. In accordance with the terms of the MOU, AWPO will play a pivotal role in discovering, shortlisting, and onboarding veterans who are interested in either buying ETO’s electric cars or working for the firm. AWPO will verify that the employees chosen by ETO are qualified and have passed through the organization’s internal screening procedures.
Veterans interested in starting small businesses may get leads on people interested in purchasing electric cars from ETO via AWPO. In return, ETO Motors will help these employees get approved for auto loans and make sure they are properly integrated into the ETO ecosystem. Service Level Agreement (SLA) training, continuous assistance till deployment is simplified, and new revenue streams are all things that ETO will provide for its colleagues. We’re thrilled to play a role in a programme that’s helping veterans carve out better lives for themselves. As part of our commitment to the three E’s, ETO Motors is convinced of the transformative potential of employment and entrepreneurship. By opening up such doors, we’re not only helping our service members establish themselves financially, but we’re also sparking an entrepreneurial spirit. We have faith in the future of these remarkable people who have left the workforce between the ages of 30 and 40, and they have already shown their worth to our country and our company. Together, we are creating a better, more equitable future for everyone. – ETO Motors’ Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Pavan Chavali. Veterans will benefit from this partnership in many ways: they will have the opportunity to purchase vehicles at a discount, and they will have access to a wide range of career options at ETO Motors. Available positions at ETO’s plants and hubs in India include Associates, Plant Managers, Floor Supervisors, Admin-HR Executives, Hub Incharges, Technical and Operation Managers, Supervisors, Store Holders, Inventory Managers, CSOs, and ASOs.
ETO Motors believes that this initiative will contribute significantly to job creation and the socio-economic empowerment of ex-servicemen. By expanding the options available to them beyond traditional roles, this collaboration will enable ex-servicemen to utilize their skills and expertise in diverse fields, fostering their personal and professional growth.
