DUQE Free Zone in Dubai Pledges Support for Surat Industrialists
Under the banner of the Mission 84 initiative, a delegation led by Ramesh Vaghasia, President of the Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI), recently met with Ghaith Al Daker, General Manager at DUQE, to explore the burgeoning prospects for Surat's industrialists eyeing business expansions in the UAE.
Surat : The DUQE Free Zone in Dubai, established by the Ports, Customs, and Free Zone Corporation (PCFC), is extending its full support to Surat industrialists and entrepreneurs seeking to broaden their business horizons within the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Under the banner of the Mission 84 initiative, a delegation led by Ramesh Vaghasia, President of the Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI), recently met with Ghaith Al Daker, General Manager at DUQE, to explore the burgeoning prospects for Surat’s industrialists eyeing business expansions in the UAE.
The DUQE Free Zone has officially commenced operations from its headquarters stationed at the iconic Queen Elizabeth 2 Floating Hotel, marking the inauguration of Dubai’s newest free zone, housed uniquely on a floating hotel within Dubai’s waters for the first time.
Headquartered in Dubai, DUQE aims not only to assist in the establishment of companies but also to offer an extensive array of value-added services. These encompass aiding in bank account openings, facilitating accounting processes, overseeing medical fitness checks, Emirates ID and health insurance acquisition, streamlining the VAT registration process, and providing comprehensive business center solutions.
During their meeting, Ramesh Vaghasia presented the SGCCI Global Connect Mission 84 project to DUQE’s General Manager, Ghaith Al Daker, expressing the desire for collaboration.
Vaghasia sought assistance in setting up offices for Surat’s industrialists and traders to market their products in Dubai. Al Daker affirmed DUQE’s commitment to support SGCCI’s Mission 84 project, pledging infrastructure assistance to Surat’s entrepreneurs and businessmen for establishing companies and offices in Dubai.
Further engagements led Vaghasia and Honorary Secretary Nikhil Madrasi to meet Anand Vats, Vice President (Sales) of Black Swan Business Setup Services based in Dubai.
