Dolly Chaiwala Visits Surat, Urges Youth to Choose Tea Over Drug

Surat : Dolly Chaiwala, a renowned tea seller from Nagpur, who gained widespread fame and recognition after serving tea to Bill Gates in February this year, visited the diamond city of Surat on Wednesday. Dolly, who has millions of followers on Instagram, visited the Surat police commissioner’s office at Athwalines where he posted an appeal on his social media  platform to the youth to stay away from drugs. 

In his message, Dolly Chaiwala said, “Stay away from intoxication, if you want to get drunk, do it with tea, not drugs. Drug ruins your life and it destroys your family. So please stay away from drugs”.

Dolly said, “I have come to Surat, the city of diamonds to appeal to the youth to stay away from Drugs and get intoxicated to tea. I have come to Surat to support the ‘Drug Eradication’ campaign of the Surat police”. 

Social media star Dolly Chawala was invited to the inauguration of a mobile shop at Parvat Patia in Surat on Wednesday. A large number of people and his fans gathered outside the mobile shops to catch his glimpse. From here, Dolly drove straight to the Surat police commissioner’s office. 

Dolly Chaiwala’s ‘No Drug’ video message has been posted on the official X handle of Surat police. 

The famous tea seller has since travelled to the Maldives and was seen preparing and serving tea to beachgoers. The viral video has elicited numerous reactions from Instagram users, with one saying that he is “living the dream of making and having tea on Maldives’ beaches”.
