SuratA shocking incident unfolded at Aimata Chowk in the Puna area in Surat when a doctor and his five accomplices were caught on CCTV brutally attacking the owner of a car decor showroom and his employee. The confrontation erupted over a 20-day delay in fixing a damaged mudguard on the doctor’s car.

Dr. Arvind Waghmasi, 34, who owns Emerging Centre Hospital in Kadodara, was identified as the main perpetrator of the attack. Accompanied by his son and four others, Dr. Waghmasi arrived at Kamal Car Decor on Tuesday, where he engaged in a heated argument with the shop owner, Himmat Shah, and his employee, Chetan Shah. The disagreement quickly escalated into violence, with Dr. Waghmasi and his accomplices attacking the victims with sticks in broad daylight.

The entire assault was captured on the shop’s CCTV camera. The footage shows the group storming into the shop and launching a brutal attack on the owner and his employee. The victims sustained multiple injuries and immediately reported the incident to the police.

Following the attack, Himmat Shah rushed to the Puna Police Station to file a complaint. As a result, a complaint was lodged against a total of nine individuals from both sides involved in the altercation.

Sources revealed that Dr. Arvind Waghmasi, a resident of Ravi Park Society in Varachha, Surat had paid in advance for the installation of a mudguard at Kamal Car Decor about 20 days ago. Despite repeated follow-ups, the shop owner failed to complete the work, citing various reasons. This ongoing delay infuriated Dr. Waghmasi, leading to the violent confrontation.

A local shopkeeper, who witnessed the incident, commented, “It was terrifying to see such brutality in broad daylight. The doctor seemed extremely agitated, and the situation escalated very quickly. It’s concerning that such violence was used over a delayed service.”

The police are now investigating the incident and reviewing the CCTV footage to identify and apprehend all individuals involved in the attack. “We have filed a complaint and are in the process of identifying and questioning all parties involved,” said a police spokesperson. “Violence of any kind is unacceptable, and we will ensure that justice is served.”
