Dharmendra Pradhan visits AM/NS India’s NAMTECH at IIT Gandhinagar

Gandhinagar : Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Minister of Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, visited The New Age Makers Institute of Technology (NAMTECH) an educational initiative by ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NS India), at IIT Gandhinagar, Research Park.

Minister Pradhan expressed his conviction that NAMTECH’s visionary approach aligns seamlessly with NEP’s objective, striving to establish a cutting-edge institution focused on immersive, hands-on learning.

Pradhan undertook an extensive tour during his visit to the sprawling NAMTECH campus, visited the institution’s state-of-the-art laboratories and engaged in insightful interactions with the students. While addressing the students, he reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to nurturing a generation of technical professionals equipped to steer India towards a brighter future.

Expressing commendation for NAMTECH’s extensive social outreach programs, Pradhan lauded the institution’s concerted efforts to upskill technicians studying in ITIs and diploma colleges nationwide. This strategic approach, aimed at empowering technicians, reflects a steadfast dedication to bolstering India’s technical workforce and fostering inclusive growth.

As NAMTECH initiates its unwavering commitment to excellence in education and skill development,  Pradhan reiterated the government’s steadfast support towards initiatives that pave the way for a brighter, more empowered India.
