Ahmedabad : The fourth edition of the Ahmedabad Design Week (ADW) organised by Karnavati University, continued to witness engaging conversations in the world of design and technology. As part of the event, a group of design students from different varsities presented their collections at ‘Anticlock’ – organised under ADW 4.0 at the Karnavati University Campus in Gandhinagar.

A collection of textile prints and designs was among the highlights of the collection presented there. For instance, UID student, Zenith Jinnoni, presented a collection of self-designed sweatshirts and T-shirts under her own brand, HAPY. Similarly, Student duo, Khwaish Choudhary and Vanshika Jogani hosted a beautiful collection of shirts made of the famed block print from the pink city – the Jaipuri print fabric.

The spirit of student entrepreneurship seen at Anticlock was indomitable. For instance, Kanak Modi and Avani Jain – who founded their brand, Hastkala, showcased custom-made mobile covers, scrunchies and printed boards. The duo founded the brand during their high school days.

NIFT Gandhinagar students, Palak Geray and Samarth Sharma, presented a range of graphic T-shirts and tote bags with customising options available under their brand, Tauxxic. Women-led firm, Ekaa, also showcased their tote bag collection, focussed on sustainability.

Two other brands – Felicia by Khushi Desai and Priyanshi Desai and Garden of Eden by Aseem Agarwal and Vaidehi Patel – showcased self-designed candles inspired by food and self-made candles and flowers.

The installations along with a series of art and craft workshops added vibrancy to the Karnavati University campus as the ADW 4.0 continued over three eventful days.
