Neha Sheth, Founder & CEO of Ciceroni, emphasized the platform’s mission of curating designs at the intersection of crafts, textiles, art, and fashion. She noted that each label is carefully selected based on its design language and material exploration, ensuring a diverse yet cohesive showcase. With an increasing number of consumers experimenting with bold and unique styles, Ciceroni provides a seamless shopping experience, including sizes up to 6XL. The choice of venue, the Kanoria Centre for Arts, further reflects the interconnected nature of art, architecture, and fashion curation.
Beyond being a retail experience, Ciceroni has consistently fostered meaningful conversations within the fashion industry. Its initiative, Candid at Ciceroni, was launched in 2018, long before industry discussions became mainstream on digital platforms. This year, Ciceroni Edit Vol.8 will revive this dialogue with UNFILTERED – Candid at Ciceroni 2.0, a series of panel discussions in collaboration with Rishav Jain, educator and founder of Version fivepointtwo. These sessions will bring together designers, retailers, marketers, and consumers to discuss key industry topics.
The panel discussions will cover three major themes. The Business of Fashion: What Consumers Want will explore shifting consumer behaviors and evolving fashion trends. Panelists include Jaina Lalbhai, fashion curator and founder of Style Audit; Janki Patel, founder of Options; Neha Sheth, and stylist Shirali Shah, with Falguni Patel leading the discussion. The Future of Craft: Finding a Perfect Balance will delve into the evolution of Indian craft traditions, featuring insights from designers and cultural proponents such as Anita Chandramohan, Shilpa Patel, Surbhi Sharma, and Rhea Patel. Lastly, Scaling Small: Navigating Growth for Emerging Designers will provide strategies for small and mid-sized businesses to scale sustainably while retaining their brand identity, with panelists including Aashima Gupta, Nirjari Shah, Shaishavi Mehta, and Priyanka Desai.
Additionally, three creative workshops will be held in collaboration with Kanoria Centre for Arts. These include Type & Cyanotype, led by visual practitioner Krishna Sheth; Stitching Stories, led by textile designer Aashna Bhagwatprasad; and Sodagiri Block Print: Sacred Threads of Time, conducted by master artisan Shakirbhai Banglawala.
The event will also feature food stalls powered by Foodaholics, ensuring a lively and immersive experience for attendees. Open from 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM on both days, Ciceroni Edit Vol.8 promises to be a vibrant confluence of fashion, design, and culture, celebrating craftsmanship while fostering industry dialogue.
