Christian Whistle Blower Raises Allegations Against CNI, Demands Financial Transparency

AHMEDABAD : Fresh allegations regarding the financial management of the Church of North India (CNI) and a related NGO have surfaced in a video circulating on social media. The speaker has questioned the handling of donations, welfare funds and financial records while urging church members to exercise caution before making contributions.

In the video uploaded by Shirish Christie, a member of the Christian community claims that court judgments and legal proceedings have raised questions about the status of certain CNI-related entities. The speaker also alleges that donations collected under various welfare programmes and projects should be fully accounted for through audited financial statements.

“We are asking for transparency. People have the right to know how donations are collected and where every rupee is spent,” the Christie says in the video.

The speaker further questions the utilisation of funds collected through initiatives such as pastors’ welfare programmes and other church projects. He also calls for annual audited reports and financial disclosures to be made available to members.

“Present the audited accounts and explain how the money has been used,” the speaker says.

The video also refers to provident fund compliance and other administrative issues, alleging that some obligations have not been fulfilled.
