Brawl Over Dinner Turns Deadly in Daman, Man From Jalgaon Killed

Daman : A seemingly trivial argument over dinner turned tragic late Wednesday night in Nani Daman, resulting in the brutal killing of a man from Jalgaon, Maharashtra.

The incident occurred at the Surti Omlet center on Devka Road, where Praduman Gohil, a resident of Amreli district in Gujarat, was having dinner with his friends. According to the Daman police, Gohil got into an altercation with Dhiraj Jadhav, a resident of Jalgaon, which quickly escalated into a brawl.

The argument took a horrifying turn when Gohil allegedly pulled out a knife and attacked Jadhav. The sharp-edged weapon inflicted fatal wounds, causing Jadhav to collapse on the spot. He was rushed to the Primary Health Center (PHC) in Moti Daman, but unfortunately, doctors declared him dead on arrival.

The Daman police have registered a complaint against Praduman Gohil under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) pertaining to murder. Investigations into the case are currently underway.
