BJP MLA Purnesh Modi’s Unique ‘Sewa Diwas’ Celebrations Shine on PM Modi’s Birthday

Surat : Purnesh Modi, the three-term BJP MLA representing the Surat West constituency, has once again made headlines, this time for his innovative approach to celebrating the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Purnesh Modi, who gained national and international attention for filing a criminal defamation case against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over remarks about the ‘Modi Surname,’ is renowned for his unwavering support for the Prime Minister.

For the past decade, Purnesh Modi, affectionately known as Purneshbhai, has been commemorating PM Modi’s birthday in unique and remarkable ways. This year, his ‘Sewa Diwas’ initiative has caught the eye of top BJP leadership in New Delhi.

The ‘Sewa Diwas’ celebration, scheduled for September 17, is designed to galvanize the people of Surat West in honoring Prime Minister Narendra Modi. What sets this celebration apart is the widespread participation of local businesses and service providers who are offering substantial discounts to their customers.

Auto drivers operating in Surat West constituency have pledged a generous 30% discount on travel fares for passengers on PM Modi’s birthday.

Most of the clinics and hospitals in Surat West are joining the celebration by offering discounts ranging from 10% to 40% for patients. Additionally, many outpatient departments (OPDs) will be providing free services on Saturday and Sunday. Prominent hospitals like Lifeline Hospital in Ramnagar are offering a 50% discount, while Shalby Hospital is giving a 40% discount. Over 50 hospitals have enthusiastically joined in the ‘Sewa Diwas’ celebrations.

Hundreds of retail shops in Rander, Ramnagar, Adajan, Palanpur Patia, Pal etc. have joined in the ‘Sewa Diwas’ celebrations by offering discounts ranging from 10% to 30%.

Navin Electronics, a popular electronics showroom, has announced an astounding discount of up to 75% on various electronic items, including laptops and televisions, in honor of PM Modi’s birthday for two days.

Speaking about the event, Purnesh Modi, BJP MLA, expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “The people of my constituency have been celebrating PM Modi’s birthday in a unique manner for the last decade. PM Modi’s birthday is always special for me and my constituents. Hundreds of shops in Surat West, doctors, auto drivers, medical stores, electronic showrooms, pathology laboratories, and more have joined in the celebration.”

In addition to the discounts, Purnesh Modi has initiated a help center at Adajan, where people can receive information about the newly launched Vishwakarma Scheme of the government. This center will provide vital information about the scheme and its benefits to the public.
