Surat : AMNS International School hosted ‘Learning Confluence’, an exhibition celebrating the transformative power of multidisciplinary education. Held on August 15, 2024, Thursday, a day of national significance, the event highlighted the school’s commitment to developing well-rounded, globally minded students ready for the challenges of the 21st century.

The Learning Confluence provided students with a unique platform to demonstrate their intellectual curiosity and creativity through multiple projects that reflected a rich blend of global and local perspectives.

Students from classes XI and XII delved into multifaceted projects, combining knowledge from various disciplines. They presented projects like Cultural Economics, which explored the impact of culture on economic systems, Women Entrepreneurs, which showcased the innovative spirit of female leaders, and Mega Kitchen, which examined the logistics and economics of large-scale food production. Other notable projects included Rupee as a Global Currency, BRICS Economy, The Success Story of India, Moonlighting, Stress and Parent-Child Relationships, Robot Model and more.

Class X students explored the theme “Sports Through a Magnifying Glass”, analysing the complexities of athleticism and competition. Their projects explored indigenous games, covering their history, topography, techniques, scientific principles and social impact.

Sunita Matoo, Principal, AMNS International School said, “The Learning Confluence exhibition perfectly showcases the potential of our students. Their projects are not just academic exercises, but a reflection of their ability to think critically and creatively, and engage with the world around them. As educators, we are proud to nurture their talents and help them chart a path towards a brighter future.”

Class IX students explored the theme “War and Peace”, taking a deep dive into the narratives of conflict and resolution. They examined the causes of wars throughout history, the equipment and scientific mechanisms involved in conflicts, and the relevance of peace in today’s world.

Class VIII students delved into the world of a Departmental Store, creating dashboard inventories and crafting advertisements and jingles. They also explored the complex dynamics of Migration, using statistical data to illustrate migration patterns within rural and urban areas, and between India and other countries.

Younger students also participated enthusiastically in the exhibition. Class VII students explored the health benefits of millets, their role in Ayurveda and their cultivation in India. They also undertook a project on the theme “The River Nile: The Lifeline”, tracing the river’s journey through various countries.

Class VI students captivated the audiences with their explorations of Colours and Monuments. The projects included Ted-Ed talks on the significance of colours, participation in a poetry workshop and playing idiom games in Hindi. The students also explored colour systems as architectural marvels of India and Rome, analysing the science and mathematics behind these structures.

The Class V students presented “Sunlo Meri Kahaani”, transporting the audiences through imaginative narratives. The storytellers crafted engaging tales around diverse themes like the Sun, Migration, Mount Everest and Ice-Cream. Their creativity and curiosity bring the themes to life, offering a vivid stage for their imaginative expressions.

The day-long event was a resounding success, leaving students, parents, and educators inspired by the innovative spirit and intellectual curiosity on display.
