Amit Shah Scolds Jay Shah During Aarti at Jagannath Temple; Video Goes Viral

Ahmedabad : A video of Union Home Minister Amit Shah scolding his son Jay Shah, chairman of the International Cricket Council (ICC), has taken social media by storm. The incident occurred during aarti at the Jagannath Temple in Ahmedabad on the second day of Shah’s three-day Gujarat visit.

The viral video shows Amit Shah performing the aarti and taking the flame near Jay Shah’s son. Concerned for his baby, Jay tried to shield him from the flames. This prompted Amit Shah to remark, “Kassu nai thay, tare kai novo navay no chokro che” (Nothing will happen; do you have a new and unique son?). The remark left VIPs and attendees chuckling, while Jay Shah appeared momentarily startled.

Amit Shah, accompanied by his family, visited the Jagannath Temple to seek blessings during his Uttarayan celebrations in Ahmedabad. The Shah family performed rituals, including cow worship, where Amit Shah humorously reiterated to Jay Shah, “You have a new and unique son!” The family expressed gratitude after darshan, with the temple’s serene atmosphere adding a special touch to the festivities.

Developmental Milestones in Gujarat

As part of his Gujarat tour, Amit Shah participated in various developmental initiatives on the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti. Key highlights included: Inauguration of Ghatlodia Police Station that is equipped with modern facilities, this new police station promises improved services. Additionally, 18 blocks of 13-floor housing for 920 police families were launched, constructed by Gujarat State Police Housing Corporation Ltd. Inauguration of  a state-of-the-art auditorium in Kalol, enhancing cultural and social activities in the region, inauguration Railway Underbridge in Kalol connecting Saij village near Kalol is expected to improve transportation efficiency, and a bone bank prepared by Shalby Hospital was also inaugurated, contributing to advanced healthcare in Gujarat.
