Surat : In the wake of a devastating blast that claimed the lives of seven workers and left eight critically injured, Aether Industries Limited, a prominent BSE-listed company in Surat, has announced support and compensation for the affected families.

The incident, which occurred over 36 hours ago, resulted in the loss of seven lives and left eight workers in a critical condition. Expressing deep sorrow over the tragic event, Aether Industries announced a compensation package of Rs 50 lakh for each of the deceased workers to be provided to their next of kin.

Moreover, in a compassionate move, the company pledged employment opportunities within the organization to the family members of the deceased workers, should they choose to work with the company. Additionally, Aether Industries has taken responsibility for the education of the fatherless children of the deceased workers.

In a statement issued by Aether Industries on Thursday, the company’s management, board of directors, and workers conveyed their sincere condolences to the grieving families of the deceased workers. The injured workers are currently under the care of expert medical professionals in various hospitals, with the company ensuring continuous monitoring of their recovery through a specialized team of doctors.

Despite Aether Industries’ strong emphasis on top-notch safety systems, technology, and automation, the company expressed deep sadness over the occurrence of such an incident.
