Ahmedabad : Adani Vidyamandir Ahmedabad (AVMA) has received the esteemed UNESCO Model ASPnet School Certificate, marking a remarkable achievement. AVMA has become the first school in Gujarat to receive this recognition, which is a significant achievement. The certificate was awarded to Shilin Adani, Trustee of the Adani Foundation, by Pervez Malik, UNESCO National Head Desk.

Advocating for Excellence in Education and Global Objectives

The Associated School Project Network (ASPnet) is an initiative by UNESCO that strives to promote peace and enhance the quality of education. AVMA’s commitment to excellence in education and fostering innovative teaching methods is evident through its membership in a network of over 9,000 educational institutions across 180 countries.

An Exemplary Institution for Holistic Education

This accolade follows AVMA’s previous accomplishment of securing the top spot in the nation for ‘Holistic Education’ as recognised by the CBSE.  In addition, AVMA is proud to be the first private school in Ahmedabad to receive accreditation from NABET under the Quality Council of India. AVMA’s accreditations further establish its role as a frontrunner in delivering top-notch education and establishing standards for educational institutions in the region.

Emphasising the importance of sustainability and global collaboration

AVMA is actively engaged in global partnerships to promote sustainability efforts on a global scale. The school utilises cutting-edge educational methods to empower students with a profound comprehension of their environmental obligations. Vidyamandir’s commitment to environmental awareness was acknowledged at the 7th NYC Green School Conference, where they were honoured with the esteemed Green School Award.

“AVMA is proud to receive the UNESCO Model ASPnet School Certificate, which highlights our dedication to delivering high-quality education and promoting global collaboration and environmental consciousness among our students. This acknowledgment establishes AVMA as a leader in moulding upcoming generations of conscientious and influential global individuals” said an official.
