A few trains to remain affected due to block on Itola-Varnama section on March 27

Surat : The Western Railway (WR) has informed that few trains will be affected due to block between Itola and Varnama railway section on March 27.

According to WR, a block of 04.30 hrs will be undertaken on DOWN line between Itola – Varnama section on March 27 from 10.45 hrs, in order to carry out the work of strengthening of Bridge No. 566. Due to the execution of this work, few long distance trains of Western Railway will be affected.

Sumit Thakur, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway stated that the Train No.  09161 Valsad – Vadodara Passenger Special journey commencing on 27.03.2023 and train No.  09162 Vadodara – Valsad Passenger Special journey commencing on 27.03.2023 will remain cancelled.

Train No. 22953 Mumbai Central – Ahmedabad Gujarat Express, journey commencing on 27.03.2023 will be short terminated at Bharuch. Passengers are requested to kindly take note of the same.
