Surat Passport Special Drive on August 22

SURAT: Passport applicants in South Gujarat have another opportunity to secure appointments as the Regional Passport Office (RPO) Surat will conduct a Special Drive on Saturday, August 22, 2026, amid a surge in demand for passport services.

The drive will be held at PSK Surat, POPSK Bardoli, POPSK Navsari, POPSK Valsad and POPSK Rajpipla. Special appointment slots for Normal passport applications are expected to open shortly on the Passport Seva online portal.

Applicants who already have appointments for later dates, as well as those who missed earlier appointments, will also be able to reschedule their appointments for August 22, subject to slot availability.

RPO Surat has advised applicants to check the official Passport Seva portal regularly for appointment availability and booking.

Officials have urged applicants to ensure that they carry all required documents to avoid delays during the verification and application process.

The special drive is aimed at helping clear the increased demand for passport services and providing applicants with a more convenient opportunity to complete their applications.

Applicants have been advised to check the official Passport Seva website intermittently for the release of slots and to carefully review the prescribed documentation requirements before visiting the passport centre.
