New Delhi [India], July 25: Ten years ago, when most of India’s startup ecosystem was chasing food delivery and e-commerce, Prashanth Reddy made a quieter bet. He decided to care for India’s parents. Today, that bet has become Anvayaa Kin Care, a platform that supports over 1.5 lakh seniors across 38 cities, has delivered more than 80 lakh hours of home care, and has managed over 5,000 medical emergencies with a 97% lives-saved record. On July 24, Anvayaa marked its 10th anniversary not just by looking back, but by looking forward with the launch of three new services designed to address the full spectrum of a senior’s life: their body, their wellbeing, and their faith. Kritagnya: Celebrating 10 years of Anvayaa & Founders’ vision. Anvayaa named the evening Kritagnya, a Sanskrit word that means gratitude and it was a fitting frame for everything the night held. This was not a corporate milestone event. It was a thank you: to the families  who trusted Anvayaa with their parents, to the Care Managers who showed up every single day, to the families who made a phone call when asking for help felt hardest, and to a decade of quiet, unglamorous work that has genuinely changed lives. The celebration brought together senior citizens, their families, Anvayaa’s Care Managers and employees, partners, and invited guests, a room that, in many ways, told the Anvayaa story better than any slide deck could. The programme included the felicitation of Gallantry awardees & Padma Shri awardees for their contributions to country and a Anvayaa Kritagnya Showcase – a walk of confidence and self-esteem by Anvayaa Elderly Members showcasing a deliberate, joyful reminder that ageing is not the end of self-expression. The evening was attended by Chief Guests Shri Kishan Reddy, Union Minister of State and Shri Brahmanandam (Celebrated Comedy Actor, Padmashri and Guiness book record holder), alongside Shri. Jayesh Ranjan (Special Chief Secretary, Govt. of Telangana), Shri. S.K. Joshi, (Former Chief Secretary, Govt. of Telangana) and Shri Mahender Reddy (Former DGP, Telangana), and other distinguished guests from across the senior-care ecosystem.

Giving Back to Those Who Kept India Safe The most quietly powerful moment of the evening had nothing to do with a product launch. Anvayaa announced lifetime complimentary emergency response assistance for a select group of Gallantry Award and Padma Shri recipients along with Anvayaa’s patented Emergency Response System and its senior smartwatch, gifted to their families as a mark of respect and care. Families of recipients of the Gallantry Awardees (Param Vir Chakra, Vir Chakra, and Sena Medal) & Padmashree awardees were present at the event to receive this recognition. The gesture was a natural extension of everything Anvayaa stands for. Anvayaa’s business is built on caring for elderly Indians in their own homes ensuring they are never alone in a moment of crisis, never left without a hand to hold or a voice to call. Extending that protection, without charge and without condition, to the families of those who sacrificed their safety so that India could be safe, was not a marketing decision. It was a responsibility. India’s gallantry awardees and Padma Shri recipients have given this country something that cannot be repaid. The least Anvayaa could do was ensure that as they age, they are never alone in an emergency. The patented Emergency Response System, paired with Anvayaa’s senior smartwatch, provides real-time monitoring, instant SOS access, and coordinated emergency response bringing the same infrastructure that Anvayaa has used to achieve a 97% lives-saved record across 5,000+ emergencies directly into the homes of India’s most honoured citizens.

Three Launches – Three Gaps Filled. The evening saw Anvayaa introduce Curapod, a wearable pain-management device; a therapeutic wellness range from 3000 BC Therapeutics; and Punyaka, a digital platform for devotional services, each chosen because they address something real that families and seniors have been asking for. Curapod: Pain Management Curapod is a compact, wearable device that uses red and near-infrared light therapy to address joint and muscle discomfort, one of the most common and quietly debilitating challenges for seniors living at home. Users place the device directly on affected areas such as the knees, back, neck, shoulders, or hips using adhesive patches or adjustable straps. A mobile application allows users to select the pain area and begin a targeted session from home, without drugs, without a clinic visit, and without disrupting the daily routine that gives a senior their sense of independence. 3000 BC Therapeutics: Therapeutic Wellness 3000 BC Therapeutics brought its therapeutic wellness range to Anvayaa’s Experience Zone at the event where seniors and their families were able to examine the products, receive demonstrations, and ask questions directly. The Experience Zone was designed around a simple belief: that families make better care decisions when they can feel and experience a product rather than simply reading about it online. Punyaka: Spiritual Care Punyaka rounds out the trio with something that is easy to overlook in a conversation dominated by medical metrics the spiritual and emotional life of India’s elderly. Through Punyata, seniors and their families can now arrange virtual poojas, book temple darshans, schedule priest visits at home, and receive prasad delivered to their doorstep. For a senior whose mobility, health, or geography has made temple visits difficult, the platform restores access to a ritual life that many have quietly grieved losing. The Decade in Numbers What started as a single-city operation in 2016 has grown into something the Indian elder-care space had no template for:
  • 1,50,000+ active seniors on the platform
  • 38 cities covered
  • 80 lakh+ hours of home care delivered
  • 15,000+ caregiving jobs created
  • 2 lakh+ companionship visits completed
  • 5,000+ medical emergencies managed with a 97% lives-saved record
  • 40%+ reduction in re-hospitalisation among members
  • 35% of members no longer need to make emergency trips to their parents’ city
  • Zero road accidents because a Care Manager is always by the elder’s side
In Prashanth’s Words “Ten years ago, I didn’t set out to build a company. I set out to solve a problem that millions of Indian families were living with silently the guilt, the distance, the fear of a phone call in the middle of the night. Today, when I look at the 1 lakh seniors we support, the Care Managers who have made this their life’s work, and the families who tell us they finally sleep soundly, I know we made the right call. These three launches are not about adding to a product catalogue. They are about meeting seniors where they actually are in their pain, in their desire for wellness, and in their faith. That is the only kind of elder care worth building.” Prashanth Reddy, Founder & Managing Director, Anvayaa Kin Care About Anvayaa Kin Care Founded in 2016, Anvayaa Kin Care is India’s first holistic circle of care for elders built on love, dignity, and trust. For us, caregiving is not just about services, it’s about being a true companion who brings comfort, safety, and happiness into the lives of seniors. With the warmth of human touch and the strength of technology, we ensure peace of mind for families. Anvayaa Kin Care is here to make every day brighter, healthier, and more fulfilling for our elders. Because for us, caring is not a duty—it’s a promise. Through our services covering Emergency Care, Health Care, Leisure Care, Daily Care, and Payment Care, we make sure every need is delivered.
