Luxury, at its most compelling, is never loud. It reveals itself slowly, in the way light settles into a room, in the texture of a surface you did not realise you would notice, in the quiet confidence of a space that feels entirely your own. This is the language that Tesor Designs speaks fluently.

Founded in 2017 in Bangalore, Tesor did not begin as a grand design studio. It started as something far more modest, a home décor store in HSR Layout. But what unfolded inside that space was telling. Clients rarely came in searching for objects. What they were really looking for was clarity, a way to articulate the homes they imagined but could not yet define. That insight would go on to shape the studio’s philosophy.

Today, Tesor Designs operates out of multiple studios across Bangalore, with a growing presence in Hyderabad, creating residences and spaces that feel deeply personal rather than prescribed. Their work sits at the intersection of restraint and richness, a balance that is difficult to achieve and even harder to sustain.

At the heart of the studio is a collective of five founders, Rajesh Kudlu, Supriya S, Priyanka K, Vinya S, and Raghavendra KJ, whose backgrounds span industries as varied as IT, marketing, retail, and brand strategy. This diversity informs Tesor’s approach in subtle but significant ways. Their interiors are not just visually cohesive but also designed for how people actually live, balancing form and function with a strong sense of individuality.

It is perhaps this sensitivity to lived experience that defines projects like Raeth, a 5BHK villa in Bangalore shaped by Japandi influences. The home feels measured and calm, where every element is intentional and never excessive. In contrast, Olavu, a contemporary 3BHK apartment, embraces a softer modernity, a space that feels current yet grounded. Then there is The Zen Home, a sanctuary in every sense, where minimalism becomes an emotional experience rather than just a visual one.

Across these projects, a pattern emerges. Tesor does not impose a signature style, it distills one. Each space reflects the individual behind it, an idea that feels increasingly rare in an industry often driven by repetition.

Part of what allows this level of nuance is the studio’s integrated approach. From concept to completion, every stage is handled internally, creating a continuity that is both visible and felt. Clients are invited into the process, to engage with materials, finishes, and forms in a way that goes beyond surface level choices. It is design as dialogue, not transaction.

This philosophy extends into Tesor’s 20000 sq ft manufacturing facility in Bangalore, a space where ideas are not outsourced but built, refined, and realised. It gives the studio an unusual degree of control, allowing craftsmanship to remain consistent with vision. The brand describes this as a commitment to precision, craftsmanship, and long term quality.

Over the years, Tesor’s work has found its way into some of the country’s most respected design publications, including Elle Decor and India Today Home, alongside recognition at platforms like FOAID. Yet, despite this growing visibility, the studio retains a certain quietness, a focus on the work rather than the noise around it.

In an era where luxury is often reduced to a checklist of finishes and features, Tesor Designs offers a different perspective. One that is slower, more considered, and ultimately more human.

Because in the end, the most luxurious spaces are not the ones that impress immediately, but the ones you grow into, day after day.
