Pune: At a time when screen-based entertainment increasingly dominates childhood experiences, Pune-based Sashakt Toytech Pvt. Ltd. is altering how children learn, that is, through play that is intentional, engaging, and development-driven. Established in 2022, the company is committed to designing educational toys that go beyond entertainment, fostering curiosity, confidence, and critical thinking in young minds.

The vision behind Sashakt Toytech is rooted in a deeply personal moment. Founder and Director Aman Singh recalls a defining incident during a visit to a toy shop, when a child, noticing a “Made in China” label, innocently asked his mother, “Am I also made in China?” That question highlighted the importance of identity, pride, and self-worth, becoming the emotional foundation for Sashakt Toytech’s mission to create high-quality, India-made learning toys children can relate to and feel proud of.

Aman Singh’s journey began in 2017 with a small rented toy shop, where close observation of children’s behaviour and parents’ expectations shaped his belief that toys should actively contribute to cognitive and emotional development. With a strong “Make in India” mindset, he transitioned from retail to manufacturing, establishing Sashakt Toytech to reduce reliance on imported toys while building meaningful alternatives rooted in learning and innovation.

Co-founder Malti Singh brings over 38 years of kindergarten teaching experience to the company. Her deep understanding of child psychology, learning patterns, and attention spans plays a central role in product design. Together, the founders ensure that every toy is grounded in play-based learning principles, encouraging problem-solving, creativity, focus, and motor skill development.

Sashakt Toytech’s products are designed using child psychology and design-thinking frameworks, promoting screen-free learning that supports real-world skills. Beyond education, the company places strong emphasis on sustainability, responsible manufacturing, and social impact, including generating employment opportunities, particularly for women, within India’s growing toy manufacturing ecosystem.

The company’s innovative approach has gained national attention. In February 2025, PNN Digital featured Sashakt Toytech for its contribution toward building a “Sashakt Bharat” through indigenous toy manufacturing. Its flagship product, the Power Puzzle Game, was also highlighted by Mid-Day, recognising its ability to enhance logical reasoning, creativity, and focus on children beyond conventional play.

These recognitions underscore Sashakt Toytech’s growing influence as a purpose-driven brand within India’s educational toy segment. By blending innovation with pedagogy and manufacturing with meaning, the company is helping redefine what play can achieve.

As Sashakt Toytech continues its journey, it remains anchored in a simple yet powerful belief, that toys should not only entertain, but empower. Through thoughtfully designed, Made-in-India learning tools, the company is nurturing a generation of confident, curious, and capable learners, while contributing to India’s self-reliant future.
