What is the entire sequence of events?
On December 4, 2025 at 12 noon in Kanpar village of Atkot taluka, the victim was playing with her siblings, when accused Remsingh Tersingh Dudwa came on a motorcycle and picked up the victim, took her to a nearbybushes, inserted a 5-inch iron rod into her private parts and raped her. Hearing the screams of the girl, her aunt, who was in the next room, came running, when accused Remsingh fled the scene.
Seeing the girl’s serious condition and heavy bleeding, the aunt immediately called the girl’s father and her husband and took her to the public hospital in Kanpar village in an ambulance. Since the girl’s condition was extremely serious, she was taken to Jasdan Government Hospital for proper treatment. Later, from there, she was shifted to Rajkot Janana Hospital at 9 pm for treatment. During this time, due to excessive bleeding, the opinions of a radiologist and a gynecologist were sought to determine whether the girl could be operated on. Only then did the unconscious girl survive after extensive treatment.
At this time, the girl’s father informed the police about the incident, but since no one saw the accused, a preliminary investigation was conducted. On December 8, the accused Rem Singh was arrested on suspicion and during his police remand, the accused gave an iron rod hidden under a tree in Kanpar village, which was stained with blood. In addition, an FSL officer was called to the scene for testing, from where a sample of hair from the accused’s head was found. When all these items were sent for testing, the hair from the head was found to be that of the accused in the DNA test and the blood on the iron rod was found to be that of the girl.
During the investigation, when the police took the accused to his house nearby, the accused Ramsing suddenly attacked the police with an iron rod. In this attack, a policeman from the Local Crime Branch (LCB) team, Dharmesh Bavaliya, was injured. Meanwhile, to prevent Ramsing from escaping by taking advantage of the darkness, the police, showing good timing, fired two rounds at the accused, in which he was shot in the leg.
