Ahmedabad | Gujarat —The prices of gold and silver went through the roof before the Diwali celebration. This had an effect on the temples in Gujarat, where donations from devotees are down a lot compared to previous year.   The temple of Maa Amba is a famous place to visit around the world, and it is located in the beautiful Aravalli hills.

Every day, thousands of worshippers come to the temple of Maa Amba and feel blessed after seeing Mataji’s holy presence.   Recently, a lot of people came to the Ambaji temple, all of them lured there by the celebratory mood of the Diwali holiday.   Many devotees came from far away to Ambaji to ask for the blessings of Maa Jagatjanani Amba and humbly pay their respects at Mataji’s feet.   Devotees sent a lot of money to the temple’s treasury, with a total of Rs.1.50 crore being donated.   A total of Rs.1.10 crore and 400 grams of gold were quietly put into the donation box.   Still, it’s not as good as the numbers from the last two years.

A large gift of ₹2.68 crore was made in 2023.

During the Diwali vacation of 2023, people who went to the Ambaji temple gave a lot of gold and silver gifts, as well as cash, for a total of Rs. 2.68 crores.  One of these gifts was a gold bar worth ₹10.16 lakhs that a loyal follower from Ahmedabad gave in memory of their mother.

During the Diwali break in 2024, Mataji’s treasury saw an incredible influx of gifts, including Rs. 1.65 crores in cash and valuable gold and silver.

At the Bhadarvi Poonam fair in 2021, a loyal follower from Ahmedabad gave the Ambaji temple 500 grams of gold, which was worth about 24 lakh 50 thousand rupees.

More than 800,000 people saw the darshan.

So far, almost eight lakh people have seen the holy sight of Maa Jagatjan’s Amba during the Diwali festival.   A lot of people come to the temple of Mataji and give a lot of money after seeing the holy darshan of Maa Jagatjan’s Amba.

Devotees have given a lot to the donation fund, which now stands at an amazing ₹1.25 crore.

A lot of people have given money to Maa Jagatjani Amba’s fund during this Diwali celebration, which is a lot more than expected.   Since the beginning of the Diwali festival, Ambaji Temple has received a huge ₹1.25 crore in donations.   The secret donation box has brought in ₹1.1 crore, and devotees have given ₹25 lakh through receipts at the Temple Inspector’s office.   Since the Diwali break, the Ambaji Temple has received a huge ₹1.25 crore in donations.

A quiet gift of 400 grams of gold

Along with cash donations, a secret stash of 400 grams of gold has been found in the treasury.   A lot of people have come to the treasury of Maa Jagatjan’s Amba during the Diwali celebration and vacation.

The trust made arrangements that were safe and easy to use.

The Ambaji Mandir Devasthan Trust made a lot of arrangements to meet the demands of the many devotees.   There were many lines set up so that the devotees could be at peace and see Mataji clearly.   We have added more security staff to our team to make things safer and more secure. This way, devotees can enjoy their darshan without worrying about anything.   The temple trust has set up more kiosks for prasad to make it easier for devotees to get the blessings of Maa Jagatjan’s Amba as the number of visitors grows.

During the Diwali holidays, Kaushik Modi, the Administrator of the Ambaji Temple Trust, said that a lot more people came to the Arasuri Ambaji Shaktipeeth.   Since the Diwali celebrations, almost eight lakh people have respectfully asked the Goddess for her blessings, and they have seen a lot of goodwill from other people.

The devotees have felt the Goddess’s presence in a divine way, and they have generously filled the Ambaji Temple’s treasury and donation box.   Devotees have given almost one and a half crores in donations, which is a lot.   The treasury has received a total of one crore and one lakh in covert donations, as well as money from donation boxes set up by followers.  Also, 25 lakh rupees have been sent to the temple office, and they have receipts for it.
