Final electoral roll of Kadi and Visavadar assembly constituencies published

Gandhinagar, Gujarat –– As part of the preparations for the upcoming elections to the 24th Kadi Assembly (SC) and 87th Visavadar Assembly seats of Gujarat, the final voter list of both the assembly constituencies has been published on May 05, 2025.

In Kadi Assembly constituency, there has been an increase of 152 male and 224 female voters, resulting in a total increase of 376 voters. In Visavadar Assembly constituency, there has been an increase of 24 male and 160 female and 01 third gender voter, resulting in a total increase of 185 voters. A total increase of 561 voters has been recorded in both the constituencies.              

In the 24-Kadi (SC) Assembly Constituency of Mehsana district in the state of Gujarat, as per the final electoral roll, a total of 2,89,746 voters, including 1,49,719 males, 1,40,023 females and 4 third genders, have been registered. While in the 87-Visavadar Assembly Constituency of Junagadh district, as per the final electoral roll, a total of 2,61,052 voters, including 1,35,597 males, 1,25,451 females and 4 third genders, have been registered.

It is worth mentioning that the Election Commission of India, under the Special Summary Revision of the Electoral Roll Programme, launched a Special Summary Revision of the Electoral Roll to include voters who have completed 18 years of age on 01st April 2025 and to prepare an up-to-date electoral roll without any errors. Under which, as per the draft voter list published on April 08, 2025, a total of 2,89,370 voters were registered in Kadi Assembly Constituency while a total of 2,60,867 voters were registered in Visavadar Assembly Constituency.

The Chief Electoral Officer Shri Hareet Shukla said that if any voter has any objection against the decision taken by the Electoral Registration Officer in the Special Summary Revision campaign, he can appeal against the decision of the Electoral Registration Officer to the concerned District Election Officer as per Section-24 of The Representation of the People Act, 1950 and Rule-27 of The Registration of Electors Rules-1960.
