Ahmedabad : Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel took a holy bath at Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj on February 7, reaffirming his faith at one of Hinduism’s most sacred confluences. Triveni Sangam, where the Ganga, Yamuna, and mythical Saraswati rivers meet, is a focal point for millions of devotees who gather for the Kumbh Mela, one of the world’s largest spiritual gatherings.

Before taking the holy dip, CM Patel visited the Bade Hanumanji Temple, where he performed puja, darshan, and aarti, seeking blessings for the happiness, prosperity, and progress of all. His visit was marked by deep reverence, aligning with the spiritual essence of Prayagraj, a historic and religious city.

The Chief Minister also stopped by the Gujarat Pavilion, an initiative by the Gujarat Tourism Corporation, designed to provide information and assistance to pilgrims from Gujarat. This pavilion serves as a vital support center, ensuring that visitors from the state have a comfortable and well-guided experience during their pilgrimage.

During his visit, CM Bhupendra Patel commended the government of Uttar Pradesh, led by CM Yogi Adityanath, for their exceptional arrangements at the Kumbh Mela. He highlighted the well-planned facilities, emphasizing the cleanliness and hygiene standards maintained at the site. He noted that the meticulous planning reflects the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has continuously worked to enhance the spiritual and cultural experiences at major pilgrimage sites across India.

The Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, known for its grandeur and religious significance, attracts devotees from across India and abroad. With facilities ensuring safety, hygiene, and a seamless experience for pilgrims, the event continues to uphold its status as one of the most well-organized religious gatherings in the world.
