Adani Foundation Enhances Shuklatirth PHC Services

Bharuch : In a bid to improve healthcare accessibility, the Adani Foundation has equipped the Shuklatirth Primary Health Center (PHC) in Bharuch with advanced diagnostic machines. This initiative, carried out during Navratri, aims to offer free and convenient blood testing services, eliminating the need for patients to travel to distant facilities for basic health check-ups.

The Adani Foundation has provided the Shuklatirth PHC with essential diagnostic tools, including an HBA1C Analyzer, Blood Cell Counter, and Semi Auto Bio Chemistry Machine. These machines can conduct 98 different types of blood tests, allowing local residents to receive comprehensive health diagnostics close to home. The introduction of this equipment addresses a critical gap in healthcare services, ensuring that residents no longer have to make long trips to Bharuch for basic diagnostics.

Expressing gratitude for the support, Bharuch District Health Officer, Dr. J. S. Dulera, acknowledged the foundation’s commitment to the community. “Last year, during the floods along the Narmada River, the Adani Foundation provided ration kits to families in need. Now, with the installation of diagnostic machinery at Shuklatirth PHC, they have once again demonstrated their dedication to public health,” Dr. Dulera stated.

The installation of these machines came after requests from local leaders and health officials who highlighted the challenges faced by residents due to a lack of diagnostic facilities. With these improvements, the health center is now equipped to serve a broader range of patient needs, significantly enhancing local healthcare services.

 The equipment handover ceremony was attended by notable figures including Adani Foundation’s Gujarat CSR Head Panktiben Shah, Bharuch Taluka Health Officer Dr. Sunil Singh, Wagra Taluka Health Officer Dr. Praveen Singh, and Sarpanch of Shuklatirth village, Randhir Singh Mangrola. Representatives from the foundation, including CSR Head of Dahej Ushaben Mishra, Medical Officer Dr. Seema Magarwala, and AMO Dr. Hetalben Chauhan, were also present.
