Vadodara : The Vadodara Police have arrested Taufik Idrish Vhora, a migrant resident of Hathikhana Tulsivadi in Roshannagar, over a viral video depicting a disturbing scene. In the footage that circulated widely on social media, a two-year-old child was seen driving a motorcycle, raising serious concerns about child safety and parental responsibility.

The video clip captured Idrish riding a bike, with the toddler seated on the petrol tank at the front, while Idrish’s wife and her friend occupied the pillion seats. The incident reportedly occurred as Idrish traversed from Karelibag water tank to Muktanand circle road. In a reckless act, Idrish momentarily relinquished control of the bike, allowing the toddler to place their hands on the handlebars, giving the appearance of the child driving the vehicle.

The alarming nature of the video prompted swift action from the authorities, who launched an investigation into the matter. Upon reviewing CCTV footage from the area, law enforcement swiftly apprehended Idrish, holding him accountable for endangering the life of the child and violating traffic regulations.

The incident has sparked outrage among members of the community and garnered widespread attention on social media platforms. Many expressed shock and dismay at the blatant disregard for safety exhibited by Idrish, emphasizing the need for greater awareness and vigilance regarding child welfare and road safety.

Child protection advocates have underscored the gravity of the situation, highlighting the inherent risks associated with allowing minors to operate motor vehicles. Such irresponsible behavior not only endangers the lives of the children involved but also poses a threat to public safety at large.

The arrest of Taufik Idrish Vhora serves as a sobering reminder of the importance of upholding traffic laws and ensuring the protection of vulnerable road users, particularly children. As the investigation into the incident progresses, authorities are expected to pursue appropriate legal action against Idrish, sending a clear message that such negligent conduct will not be tolerated.
