Surat : Residents of Surat witnessed a harrowing scene on Wednesday morning as a Sitilink bus operated by the Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) burst into flames while traveling through Athwagate. The alarming incident unfolded with smoke billowing from the rear of the bus, causing panic among passengers.

Eyewitnesses described the chaotic scene as commuters screamed and alerted the driver to the growing blaze. Reacting swiftly, the driver brought the bus to a sudden stop, allowing passengers to evacuate safely. Miraculously, all occupants managed to exit the bus unscathed before the fire could escalate.
