Ahmedabad : As JP Nadda, the national president of the BJP, embarked on his journey to the Rajya Sabha from the state of Gujarat, the president of the Gujarat Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), CR Paatil, expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for ushering in a new era of leadership inside the party. It was around this time that Patil made his statement.

Paatil’s comments were made in the middle of a crowd of exuberant party activists at the SVPI airport. These individuals were anxiously expecting Nadda’s arrival on Thursday, when he was scheduled to submit his candidature as a candidate for the upper house of parliament.

Paatil, while addressing the crowd, emphasised the importance of Nadda’s nomination, pointing out that it represents yet another significant milestone in the political scene of Gujarat. He emphasised the tangible enthusiasm among party members, underlining the fact that both Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah are from Gujarat, and now the national head of the BJP is also looking forward to representing the state in the Rajya Sabha. He also emphasised the fact that Gujarat is home to both of these individuals.

Paatil extended his gratitude to Prime Minister Modi for giving the Gujarat BJP with strong leadership and expressed his faith in Nadda’s capacity to further expand the party’s position in the area. Paatil’s expression of appreciation was a sign of appreciation. In recognition of the vital role that Nadda would play in determining the course that the party would take in the future, he welcomed him as one of their own.

Paatil, looking forward, announced lofty aims for the 2018 Lok Sabha elections, establishing a target of gaining victory with a margin of 5 lakh votes on each of the 26 seats in Gujarat. Patil’s goals were ambitious since they were related to the future. He emanated an air of confidence over the possibilities of the party, with the objective of achieving a hat trick of victories in the state.

Furthermore, Paatil made a veiled reference to the BJP’s hopes for a Congress-free Rajya Sabha in the future. This echoed the notion of a Congress-free Lok Sabha and brought attention to the party’s preeminent position in the political arena.

At the stage, JP Nadda conveyed his thanks to Prime Minister Modi for his unflinching support and expressed his happiness at the chance to interact with the people of Gujarat. He also expressed his appreciation for connecting with them. He pondered on the importance of being elected from Gujarat, calling it as a momentous occasion in his political career. He was elected state governor of Gujarat.
