Gujarat Trusts Gear Up to Feed Thousands During Ram Temple Consecration

Gandhinagar : As the holy city prepares for the momentous consecration of the Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir, three charitable trusts from Gujarat are stepping forward to serve the countless devotees expected to throng Ayodhya. Offering a comforting hand and warm meals, these trusts will be a pillar of support during the month-long festivities.

The Shivani Rang Amarnath Charitable Trust, based in Vadodara, will set up camp at Naya Ghat, a bustling ghat along the Saryu River. From January 26th, they will provide a full spread of snacks, lunch, and dinner, nourishing approximately 5,000 pilgrims daily for 20 days. Their dedication ensures that amidst the spiritual fervor, no devotee’s hunger goes unnoticed.

Meanwhile, near the Ayodhya bypass road, the venerable Vadtal Swaminarayan Temple will establish a food service under the leadership of Sant Swami. Their commitment extends to the entire consecration period, offering three meals daily to 5,000 pilgrims until February 28th. This long-term commitment underscores the temple’s unwavering support for the event.

The Jalaram temple of Virpur, another revered Gujarat institution, will add a touch of sweetness to the festivities. They will distribute 1 lakh packets of magas ladoo, a traditional sweet offering, as prasad during the consecration ceremony. These specially prepared packets boast a shelf life of 25 days, ensuring that the blessings of the temple reach every devotee.

These acts of generosity from Gujarat reflect a deep-seated cultural connection and spiritual solidarity with Ayodhya.
