Surat : Mayur Golwala Appointed Chairman of Sachin Notified Area Authority 

Surat : Mayur Golwala, the secretary of the Sachin Industrial Society, Surat has been appointed as the chairman of the Sachin Notified Area Authority (SNAA) for the Sachin GIDC. This uncontested appointment occurred with unanimous support from the SNAA authorities, marking a significant leadership transition on Monday.

Golwala, a prominent figure in Surat’s powerloom textile sector, brings substantial experience to his new role. Expressing his commitment, he emphasized a zero-tolerance policy towards corruption concerning funds deposited by industrial area members within the SNAA. “Transparency and accountability will be the cornerstones of our operations,” Golwala stated firmly.

Addressing pressing concerns within the Sachin GIDC estate, Golwala outlined priority initiatives. “Cleanliness is paramount, and we are determined to address this issue promptly,” he affirmed. Plans include a strategic overhaul of garbage collection across the four zones within Sachin GIDC, involving the engagement of four dedicated agencies for efficient cleaning and waste disposal services.

Additionally, Golwala pledged comprehensive infrastructure enhancements. “Roads within the Sachin GIDC estate will undergo extensive repairs and renovation to facilitate the ease of access for industrial members,” he confirmed.

Highlighting a crucial environmental aspect, Golwala articulated plans for a solid waste management system aimed at processing the substantial waste generated within Sachin GIDC. Assuring swift implementation, he outlined intentions to fortify fire safety measures across all units and factories within the estate.

“We are dedicated to not only enhancing infrastructure but also ensuring environmental sustainability and safety within Sachin GIDC,” Golwala affirmed, outlining a comprehensive vision for holistic development in the region.
