Nakul Sharedalal makes it to ALB Super 50 Lawyers in India
Ahmedabad-based IP lawyer is the first from Gujarat to make it to the prestigious list
Ahmedabad : Renowned Ahmedabad IP attorney Nakul Sharedalal made it onto the inaugural list of ALB Super 50 Lawyers in India, an honour bestowed by Asian Legal Business (ALB) on the country’s best solo practitioners in recognition of their dedication to their clients.
On Thursday, the ALB Super 50 Lawyers in India were honoured in a gala event held at The Leela Place in New Delhi. It is noteworthy that a legal eagle from Gujarat has made it to this list for the first time ever, despite this being the third edition of the coveted rating.
When I saw my name included in the ALB Super 50 Lawyers in India list, I was shocked to see it next to such illustrious company. This success wouldn’t have been possible without the support of Asian Legal Business and the admiration of my clientele. Mr. Sharedalal said that the praise will serve as “continuous motivation to ensure even better client servicing.”
This is not the first time Mr. Sharedalal has been included in such a select group. Asian Legal Business India and Thomson Reuters have recognised him as a Top IP Lawyer for the years 2020, 2021, and 2022, making him the first and only attorney from Gujarat to ever be thus honoured.
In addition to his 14 years of experience in intellectual property law, Mr. Sharedalal has a Master of Law from Queen Mary University of London. In addition to his work as a mentor and counsellor for several local and global business organisations, he has served as the Chairman of Assocham Gujarat’s IPR Council. His passion for intellectual property law (IPR) leads him to often offer his thoughts on the topic at conferences, seminars, and other events.
As for the ALB Super 50 Lawyers in India, they were chosen from among those who had been nominated by their clients and had been in active practise between April 2023 and May 2023. To the tune of over a thousand, 100 solicitors were recommended. The review included the attorneys’ performance as well as the clients’ financial stability. The rankings also took into account the candidate’s and the firm’s market reputation as well as the significance of recent and historical work, customers, and market standing.
