Mumbai: The Hindustan Chamber of Commerce will host the “ASIATEX 2023” Textile Trade Fair from August 31st to September 2nd, 2023 at the JIO World Convention Centre in BKC, Mumbai. The B2B Fair will be in its fifth year.

Shikharchand Jain, President of the Hindustan Chamber of Commerce (HCC), indicated that the Fair would include around 125 booths to commemorate the Chamber’s 125th anniversary.  This is a historic event for the Chamber, and the Fair will include a majority of big booths ranging in size from 904 square feet to 97 square feet. There will be a diverse selection of booths from Mumbai, Bhiwandi, Surat, Ichalkaranji, Bhilwara, Ahmedabad, and other key textile centres.

The Fair will include a diverse variety of yarns, fabrics, made-ups, technical textiles, uniform fabrics, home textiles, furnishing fabrics, knits, garments, and so on, mostly from manufacturers and exporters.

Over 15,000 guests are anticipated over the three-day Fair.

This B2B Fair will take up 60,000 square feet at the JIO World Convention Centre, with booths taking up 25,000 square feet. The remaining area will be filled by a stage, VIP lounge, meeting centre, conference room, café, and so on.

Sushil R. Gadia is the Convener of the Asiatex – 2023 Organising Committee, while Uttam V. Jain is the Convener of the Public Relations Committee.

Shikharchand Jain is the President, Sajjan Kumar Dokania is the Vice President, Anurag Poddar, Vinod J. Lodha, Nirmal Kumar Gupta are the Hon. Secretaries, and Sanjeev D. Bubna is the Treasurer.

Hindustan Chamber of Commerce:

Hindustan Chamber of Commerce was established in the year 1897 and having its headquarter at Kalbadevi Road, Mumbai. It has more than 2,000 business houses as members, related to the textile trade.

The Chamber runs Marwari Commercial High School & Junior College as well as Hindustan Chamber Chikitsalay. The Chamber has also been conducting arbitrations, which is a cost effective and faster way of resolving disputes. The Chamber is also authorized by Ministry of Commerce, Govt. of India to issue “Certificate of Origin” (non- preferential) to the exporters since 2002.  www.hccmumbai.com
