Surat : The Surat city police and The Radiant International School are gearing up to host the 4th mega blood donation camp on July 23. This noble initiative aims to provide much-needed support to Thalassemia Major children adopted by the Surat city police, creating a ray of hope in the lives of these young warriors.

The Radiant International School campus, nestled on Bhesan Road in Jahangirabad, will serve as the venue for this life-saving event. Inspired by Gujarat’s Home Minister, Harsh Sanghavi, the blood donation camp is a testament to the power of collective action and the unwavering commitment of the Surat community to make a positive impact.

Surat City Police Commissioner, Ajay Kumar Tomar, will grace the occasion, underscoring the significance of the event and its profound impact on the lives of Thalassemia Major children. The commendable efforts of the Rander, Adajan, and Pal police stations under the city police have played a pivotal role in organizing this altruistic endeavor.

Thalassemia Major is a severe genetic blood disorder that affects the production of hemoglobin, leading to life-threatening anemia. Regular blood transfusions are essential for the survival of children with this condition, making blood donation camps like these a lifeline for these young fighters.

“This blood donation camp represents the spirit of humanity and solidarity,” says Commissioner Ajay Kumar Tomar. “The Surat city police, in collaboration with the Radiant International School, is proud to contribute to the well-being of Thalassemia Major children, demonstrating that our city stands united in support of those in need.”

“The Radiant International School is honored to be part of this noble cause,” says the school’s spokesperson. “We believe in fostering a culture of compassion and social responsibility among our students. Partnering with the Surat city police in organizing this blood donation camp aligns perfectly with our values and commitment to community service.”

The blood donation camp is a shining example of how collective efforts can create positive change and save lives. It exemplifies the empathy and care that the Surat community extends to its most vulnerable members, instilling hope and resilience in the lives of Thalassemia Major children.
