Mumbai : ‘Make in India’ Seersucker fabric is known as “Shir O Shakar,” which means “milk and sugar,” due to the likeness of its smooth and rough surface to the silky smoothness of milk and the lumpy texture of sugar.
The 2023 collection of z3 Seersucker shirts are composed of 100% cotton; the fabric is woven in such a way that certain threads are bunched together, giving the cloth a puckered look in areas. This provides additional pockets of space, allowing for better air circulation and breathability.
The wrinkled/ puckered aspect of seersucker is a unique element of the clothing; even if the garment is pressed flat, it will recover its wrinkled nature, allowing you to save time and effort while still enjoying the puckering of the garment.
