PM Mitra Textile Parks will enable USD 100 Bn exports by 2030: TEXPROCIL

Mumbai : Among the most innovative initiatives in the textile industry, PM MITRA Parks aim to increase the rate of textile exports and attract large-scale investments.

As a result of the post-covid realignment of supply chains and the strengthening of the “China plus one” policy as a result of shifting geopolitical alignments, India has become a beacon of economic stability that has attracted the attention of investors around the world. Investors can rest easy knowing that the PM MITRA scheme prioritises speedy processing of applications and single-point clearances.

Shri Sunil Patwari, Chairman, TEXPROCIL, thanked the Hon’ble Prime Minister for his foresight in creating the PM Mitra parks, which will house all aspects of the textile industry from farm to fibre to factory to fashion to foreign.

Those Places Called Parks, Shri Patwari argued that this would fortify “Atmanirbhar Bharat,” thereby positioning India as a formidable and competitive player in the international textile and apparel market.

Investors will be enticed by the 7 Mega Parks because of their state-of-the-art infrastructure and “plug & play” facilities, which will allow them to start production quickly.

As an added bonus, the integrated facilities will lower production costs, making Indian textile exports very competitive, as stated by Shri Patwari.
