DocPlix receives Pre-Series A funding from Eris Lifesciences Pvt Ltd

New Delhi : Innovation in Healthcare Technology Startup Eris Lifesciences Pvt. Ltd. led the INR 5 crore Pre-Series A funding round for DocPlix, which also included participation from other angel investors. Angel investors helped them raise 1.2 billion Indian rupees (US$250,000) in a Seed Round in February 2022.

This investment will be used for marketing, product development, and growth for the startup. When asked about plans to expand into new regions of India, DocPlix CEO Dr. Varun Garg said, “We want to focus on the western, southern, and central parts of the country.”

Docplix was founded in 2021 by Drs. Varun Garg, Aayush Garg, and Ajay Shukla with the intention of creating a system that would allow for the secure and efficient transfer of medical records between practitioners and their patients. DocPlix also offers technology products for healthcare facilities, allowing them to provide patients with a memorable and positive first impression. DocPlix Rx is a robust EMR system for healthcare facilities, allowing doctors to expand their practises and provide more thoughtful care to their patients.

Some of the specialties it claims to have certified are endocrinologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, dermatologists, oncologists, dentists, and more than two thousand other medical professionals. In the next 10 months, the company plans to sell 5,000 licences of its medical-algorithms-based chatbot, Panini, and bring on board 5,000 doctors using its speech-to-text EHR.

With the goal of simplifying the lives of both doctors and their patients, Docplix is developing a cutting-edge electronic health record system. Docplix’s Preventive Care programme has helped over a thousand patients in the past year by providing them with comprehensive treatment for conditions like diabetes, obesity, and polycystic ovary syndrome. The business plans to grow in this area, with 3,000 new patients expected to be served in the next year.
