Daman : Get ready to fork over Rs 1000 the next time you want to film or take photos along the entire stretch of Ram Setu Road in Daman, Union Territory of India, from Moti Daman jetty to Jampore beach.

Moti Daman Jetty to Jampore beach along Ram Setu Road will incur fees of Rs 1000, according to a notice issued by the Daman Municipal Council (DMC). Private vehicles, tour buses, and taxis all have to pay a flat rate of between Rs 20 and Rs 75 per hour to park at the DMC lot.

Daman, a union territory off India’s coast, is renowned for its stunning scenery and tranquil beaches. It sits on the Arabian Sea and is encircled by verdant hills and undulating landscapes. Visitors to Daman can do everything from participate in water sports and other outdoor activities to simply relax on the beach and take in the breathtaking ocean views. Devka Beach, Jampore Beach, Mirasol Lake Garden, and Fort St. Jerome are just a few of Daman’s most popular destinations.

According to a notice published on February 2nd, DMC has assigned a group to collect parking fines and fees for commercial filming along Ram Setu Road.

It is the responsibility of the DMC to collect parking fees and fees for video and photo shoots at designated tourist points like The Fern Point, the Peer Baba Point, the Moti Daman Jetty area, the Old school on Jampore beach, etc.

Important to keep in mind is that the Jampore beach is managed by the Jampore village panchayat. A number of people have questioned the DMC’s decision to collect parking fees and other fees for the shoot. To request the distribution of Jampore charge receipts to the panchayat, the members of the panchayat are drafting a memorandum to be submitted to the chief officer of DMC.
