Adani Solar receives seven awards at the NCQC 2022

Ahmedabad (Gujarat) : Adani Solar, the Adani Group’s photovoltaic manufacturing and research arm, won awards at the 36th National Convention on Quality Concepts(NCQC), adding another jewel to its bouquet of honours. Several participants from across the country competed for the prestigious title at the recently held event.
The NCQC has recognised Adani Solar with six excellence and one special award for excellence in quality assessment. Aurangabad hosted the award ceremony. The Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI) organises the much-anticipated annual award ceremony, NCQC, with the goal of benchmarking and recognising outstanding improvement projects based on quality assessment across the country.
Adani Solar received the second-highest award and the distinguished award, followed by a case study presentation at the event, out of a total of 2,031 contestants from various parts of the country. The case study also detailed how the company has maintained its exemplary performance even in complex sectors such as cell production, module quality, module production, and so on.

The National Convention on Quality Concepts is a national-level competition in which teams from various organisations compete in Quality Circle, 5S, and Six Sigma, with the best team receiving an award after passing various quality assessment checks.
Through various programmes, the Quality Circle Forum of India plays an important role in quality implementation and skill development. It is common practise to employ integrated quality approaches such as 5S, Kaizen, QC, LQC, LSC, WCM, Six Sigma, and so on in order to develop problem-solving skills with confidence and a positive attitude within various teams across the country.
