Karma Ayurveda’s Integrative Approach to Health Care Supports the Prime Minister’s Agenda to “Heal in India”

New Delhi (India) : Karma Ayurveda, the premier Ayurveda centre in India, has already successfully treated over 50,000 patients in 2022, and now plans to open 12 more locations in India, the United Arab Emirates (Dubai), Europe, and the United States. Karma Ayurveda’s focus on holistic healing and wellness is consistent with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent ‘Heal in India’ initiative. With ambitious expansion plans, the Ayurveda Centre anticipates doubling its annual patient volume from overseas to 20,000 by 2023.

Dr. Puneet, a member of the fifth generation of Ayurvedic physicians, oversees the operations of the healthcare facility Karma Ayurveda, which he helped found in 1937. It is based on all of Ayurveda’s tenets and incorporates them with cutting-edge science to promote everyone’s health. When it comes to promoting medical tourism in India and fusing the country’s strengths in traditional medicines with modern medical science, Karma Ayurveda’s approach couldn’t be more on point.

Over the years, we’ve helped more than a thousand patients who were considered hopeless by conventional medicine. Just recently, we completely cured a 16-year-old boy with severe Kidney disease who had been advised to get a Kidney transplant. Now, he’s living a perfectly typical, busy life. According to Dr. Puneet, “Karma Ayurveda focuses on not only the treatment but also the holistic health as we believe in offering and adapting Ayurveda as a preferred alternative to available choices.”

As more people moved away from a chemical-driven lifestyle and toward a more natural and holistic one, it became clear that there was a corresponding rise in awareness of the importance of boosting the body’s total immunity to fend off lifestyle illnesses. Concern about the spread of Covid-19 is also widespread. Immunity enhancement reemerges as a top priority alongside COVID-19-appropriate behaviour.

“Ayurveda’s effectiveness in boosting immunity during previous COVID-19 waves argues that people should maintain faith in traditional medicine in the face of future waves. The Prime Minister of our country has been pushing for more holistic approaches to medical care. For this reason, Dr. Puneet emphasised, “Ayurveda must be incorporated into our contemporary healthcare system.”

Karma Ayurveda has been serving the community for over 84 years, during which time they have become known for providing high-quality healthcare at a price that anyone can afford. In addition to being one of the world’s leading outpatient care (OPD) hospitals, clinics, and wellness centres, it has also contributed significantly to our overall understanding of the dynamics of the healthcare industry. The fact that the treatment is administered in a 40-bed NABH-approved hospital in Gurugram is indicative of its safety and efficacy. We have over a hundred highly trained professionals, including Ayurvedic physicians, who provide patients with above and beyond care.

“We take a patient-centric strategy that streamlines the care delivery process from beginning to end. No trust gap exists, which improves the overall treatment experience for patients. Using the momentum from our existing centres, we plan to open 12 more locations in India in 2023, giving more people access to our holistic healing services. In addition, we’re putting in four telemedicine facilities. Over 1,200 highly experienced doctors and health counsellors will soon be on board, and as a result, we anticipate a nearly 20% increase in consultancy. Dr. Puneet announced that Karma Ayurveda would be releasing an app to make holistic medicine more accessible in light of the recent revolution in healthcare brought about by technological advancements.

The beneficial effects of traditional medicines have been established empirically (AYUSH). India is ready to put its expertise in alternative medicine systems like Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Sidda, and Homeopathy to use. The government of India has launched a programme called “Heal in India” with the goal of increasing the number of foreigners who travel to the country to receive medical treatment.

In addition to its strengths in traditional medicine, the low cost of treatment, the large number of highly trained doctors, and state-of-the-art facilities, India is one of the most sought-after destinations among overseas patients. This is evidenced by Karma Ayurveda’s successful treatment and care of over 12,000 foreign patients to date. Having received NABH accreditation, Karma Ayurveda demonstrates its dedication to providing care that meets or exceeds national and international benchmarks for quality and safety for its patients.

The central government has taken a number of advocacy measures, including the ‘Heal in India’ campaign. In 2022, India and the rest of the world celebrated the seventh annual Ayurveda Day in grand style. The event’s theme, “Har Din HarGhar Ayurveda,” highlighted efforts to educate the general public about Ayurveda’s many advantages. More than 5,000 events were held by the Ministry of Ayush institutes/councils with the support of more than 26 ministries of Government of India and the Ministry of External Affairs India missions and embassies over the course of the six-week celebrations, which had the goal of 3Js (Jan Sandesh, Jan Bhagidari, and Jan Aandolan).

In 2023, all parties involved in India’s traditional healthcare systems and research, including Karma Ayurveda, will ramp up their activities with the goal of revitalising the ancient medical wisdom of India and ensuring its optimal development and propagation through a patient-centered, holistic healing strategy.
