SGCCI to take its signature gems and jewellery show ‘Sparkle’ to major cities in India

About 30 top-notch jewelers from Surat and across the south Gujarat region are participating in the three-day long Sparkle International 2022 beginning December 16

Surat (Gujarat) : The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGGCI) will take its signature gems and jewellery show ‘Sparkle International’ to Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Jaipur and other important cities across the country to promote jewellery made in Surat and south Gujarat in the next couple of months.

Himanshu Bodawala, president of SGCCI, while speaking with the media persons on the sidelines of the three-day long Sparkle International 2022 exhibition to be held at Indoor Stadium in Athwalines starting from December 16 said, “We are taking Sparkle International exhibition to Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Bengaluru and other places to promote the jewellery manufactured in Surat and south Gujarat”

About 30 top-notch jewelers from Surat and across the south Gujarat region are participating in the three-day long Sparkle International 2022. Jewellery articles ranging from rs 50,000 to Rs 1 crore in the categories such as heritage jewellery, exclusive bridal jewellery, jewellery inspired from the Nawabi culture, fusion jewellery, polki jewellery, bikaneri jewellery, fancy diamond and antique gold jewellery etc. will be exhibited at the show.

Bijal Jariwala, convener of Sparkle International 2022 said, “This is the first B2C exhibition being held after a gap of four years. SGCCI is organsing Sparkle show since 2009. The Sparkle event has been planned keeping in mind the marriage season for the next six months”

Sparkle gems and jewellery show has become quite popular among the buyers in India and across the world. This time around the SGCCI is expecting footfall of about 20,000 people during the three day of the show.

Snehal Pachchigar, co-chairman of Sparkle said, “Surat has become the hub of jewellery manufacturing. The jewellery manufactured in Surat are popular in the country and abroad. Compared to other centres in India, the jewellery articles made in Surat are cheap due to the less making charges by the jewelers”

The Sparkle International 2022 will be inaugurated by Mayor Hemali Boghawala and Standing Committee chairman Paresh Patel.

Bodawala said, “We have invited about 50 women entrepreneurs from Surat to inaugurate the Sparkle International 2022”
