67-Year-Old Surat Lawyer Tops Swimming Championship

Surat :  Proving that age is no limit when it comes to achieving one’s dreams, Kashyap Shukla, a 67-year-old practicing lawyer, has displayed remarkable prowess in the pool. Shukla secured first place in two events and third place in another at the 12th Gujarat State Masters’ Aquatic Championship 2023, organized by the Gujarat State Aquatic Association (GSAA) in Surat.

The championship, which took place on September 17, witnessed Shukla’s outstanding performances. He clinched the first position in the 100-meter breaststroke and the 200-meter individual medley, showcasing his exceptional swimming abilities. Additionally, Shukla secured third place in the 100-meter backstroke event.

Kashyap Shukla, an expert swimmer, has now earned the opportunity to compete at the national level following his impressive triumph at the GSAA competition. His achievements have not only brought pride to the city of Surat but have also garnered recognition for the legal community. Shukla is a distinguished senior lawyer practicing at the Surat District and Sessions Court.
