Ahmedabad (Gujarat) [India]: Have you ever heard of an airport carnival? If not, you must fly to your favourite destinations from Ahmedabad’s Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International (SVPI) Airport. For the first time, the SVPI has organised a 45-day summer carnival’ during which passengers going from the airport will have the chance to win amazing deals and offers starting from May 15.

From gifts to authentic Gujarati snacks, readymade garments, gifts for elderly people, kids, etc. will be available at the SVPI airport at an attractive discount.

The summer carnival’s goal is to provide value for money to discerning air travellers. The combos will be useful for folks travelling in groups, especially at the F&B outlets, where they can grab that extra bite to eat at a lower price. Purchases of a particular amount at retail establishments will also result in further savings for travellers. Some stores also provide discount coupons.

The airport ambiance is prepared for a paradigm shift that emphasizes what every carnival environment should be – fun-filled. The carnival promises to improve the customer experience by incorporating personnel and professional artists in passenger engagement activities.

SVPI airport, which formerly had roughly 30 outlets, now has over 65 outlets, ensuring that passengers have the right mix of products and drinks. Furthermore, in response to passenger demand, several additional outlets have opened in various regions of domestic and international terminals over the last year. As part of the summer carnival, most businesses will provide significant discounts to all passengers.

Some of the F&B outlets have innovated by coming up with cross-promotion offers where the user can avail of coupons at retail outlets. Some of the startups that have got space at SVPI airports, too, will be luring passengers to shop and use their services.
