Surat to host Mega Medical Camp on Amit Shah and MLA Purnesh Modi’s Birthday
The medical camp will cater to a diverse range of health concerns, including diabetes, blood pressure, cough, fever, neurological problems, mental diseases, cancer, eye-related diseases, gynecology, general surgery, dental problems, ear, nose, and throat infections, among others.
Surat : A massive medical camp is being organized in Adajan, Surat as part of the birthday celebration of Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Surat (West) MLA Purnesh Modi. The free medical camp is being organised at Pramukh Swami Sabhagruh in Adajan, aiming to provide free-of-cost medical examinations and expert guidance to individuals suffering from various diseases on Sunday
The medical camp will cater to a diverse range of health concerns, including diabetes, blood pressure, cough, fever, neurological problems, mental diseases, cancer, eye-related diseases, gynecology, general surgery, dental problems, ear, nose, and throat infections, among others.
As an additional gesture of support, women and girls from underprivileged families will be provided with sanitary pads, and approximately 100 adults received Ayuraksha Immuno Booster Kits under the Pradhan Mantri Bharatiya Jan Aushadhi Yojana. These kits are aims to safeguard individuals from the growing incidence of heart attacks in the state.
A team of dedicated medical professionals will oversee the free medical camp, including general physician Dr. Pushottam Koradia, Dr. Anand Modi, Dr. Bhaumik Rathod, Dr. Sulok Desai, and Dr. Tanisha Nanavati, among others. Notably, the event will be attracting more than four dozen doctors from various fields, including homeopathy, allopathy, Ayurveda, dieticians, and more, who volunteered their expertise to benefit the local community.
The timing of this medical camp coincides with the birthday of Surat (West) MLA Purnesh Modi. For years, Modi has celebrated his birthday by engaging in socially impactful activities that benefit his constituency’s residents.
Purnesh Modi shared his perspective on the mega medical camp, stating, “The medical camp is being organized on a very large scale, and it is going to benefit a huge number of people. Our mission is to provide free-of-cost medical treatment and expert guidance to individuals who cannot afford private hospitals due to the high cost of treatment.”
He further emphasized that attendees of the medical camp would receive not only free-of-cost medical examinations but also access to necessary medications and expert diagnoses from senior doctors in Surat. The camp serves as a significant step towards addressing the healthcare needs of the less privileged and underserved individuals in the region.
