SURAT, GUJARAT : Siddhant Dimplakumar Shah, a bright young talent from Surat, has brought immense pride to the diamond city with his exceptional achievement at the prestigious Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) 2024 held in Los Angeles, USA. Siddhant, the lone student from Gujarat, won an award in the field of Static and Dynamic Engineering Technologies, marking a significant milestone in his academic journey.

Representing India as an IRIS finalist, Siddhant was part of Team India at ISEF. The Initiative for Research and Innovation in STEM (IRIS) is a program supported by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, and Broadcom. This initiative aims to promote and nurture research in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) among young Indian innovators.

“Siddhant’s accomplishment is a testament to his dedication, hard work, and innovative spirit. It is not only a personal triumph but also a moment of immense pride for our community and our country,” said his father Dimpalkumar Shah.

Regeneron ISEF is the world’s largest pre-college STEM competition, attracting thousands of participants from around the globe. Winning an award at this level is a significant achievement, reflecting the highest standards of scientific and engineering excellence. Siddhant’s project in Static and Dynamic Engineering Technologies stood out among numerous entries, showcasing his exceptional skills and innovative approach.
