Mumbai: Suman Saroj, a 40-year-old self-inspired writer, wanted to channel the emotional upheaval she felt after experiencing what she believes to be the worst times of her life into a moving work of literature. Suman’s first book, titled “Glory is Calling,” is a deeply felt manual for keeping at it. Recently released, you can get your hands on a copy of the book over at Amazon.com.

During the epidemic, Suman chose to take control of her life and channel the popular adage, “When the going gets tough, the tough get going.” Covid-19 brought her a rush of problems, as it did for many others, problems that would force her to spend time away from her loved ones. After having led a vibrant team as Team Manager, she is now trapped within a quarantined flat due to the spread of Covid-19. She tried to go back to work once everything calmed down, but nothing seemed to be working. This prompted her to take the most risky action of her professional life: she quit her job to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a published novelist.

Suman’s emotional and financial health took a major hit when she was recommended to have a knee operation early in her vacation. But Suman isn’t the kind to give up easily. She wrote this inspirational book after engaging in some serious soul-searching during the epidemic and ultimately deciding to pursue her longstanding ambition of being a published author.

Glory is Calling is an inspiring, heartwarming book that gives its readers the motivation to give their best. The author was motivated to write the book after realising she had finally completed her lifelong ambition. She persevered over several obstacles to become a published novelist.

One must maintain one’s head held high no matter what difficulties life presents. They should use their feelings of hopelessness as inspiration to keep working towards their goals. The Vikhroli location of Titlewaves bookshop was the realisation of this fantasy for our author. Several notable people, such as the head of operations at Marsh and McLennan, Obaid Salim Siraj, and the project m

Author Suman Saroj shared her excitement about the release of her first novel by saying, “It brings me tremendous joy to announce my first novel — Glory is Calling. This is my offering of devotion to tenacity and effort. The time I spent alone writing this book was quite healing. The only place I could go to feel safe and secure. For about a year, this book was my only companion while I lay bedridden, and it got me through some of the worst times of my life.

“That being said, this book can serve as a guide to attain absolute nirvana. This can only be achieved if one lets go of his human prejudices. Don’t hook yourself in the past. It’s long gone. Look ahead to accept new moments. Glory is Calling is my earnest attempt towards spreading the message of self-belief and confidence. I hope the audiences can connect with the novel as much as I do.” she elaborated.
