Silvassa to Host NIFT Entrance Exams 2025

Daman : The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that Silvassa will be one of the examination centres for the upcoming NIFT entrance exams 2025. This move is expected to benefit students from the Union Territory of Daman and Diu, who will now have a convenient location to take the exam. The NIFT entrance exams are conducted for admission to 19 NIFTs across India, offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs in fashion and design. The exams will be held in 82 centres across India, including Silvassa, and will be available in both Hindi and English mediums. The last date for application submission is on 9th January 2025.

In 2022, 18th NIFT was opened at Daman with Bachelor Degree in Textile Design and Master’s Degree in Fashion Management Studies with the support of Union Territory administration. Daman NIFT has an open house in the campus, where aspiring students can clear their doubts, said Campus Director Sandeep Sachan. There are seats reserved for domicile Union Territory students and for Artisan’s children in the Campus for Bachelor’s and Master’s program said Campus Academic Coordinator Dr Vidhu Sekhar P.
