Ahmedabad, Gujarat — In a world where temples are often seen as sacred grounds for atonement or salvation, Shri Omkardham Tirth in Gujarat offers something profoundly different—hope for healing and fulfillment of material needs. Located in the quiet village of Panva, just 100 km from Ahmedabad and close to the Dasada Wild Ass Sanctuary, this spiritual haven is believed by many to be the only temple in the world where prayers are answered not for moksha or punya, but for relief from suffering and realization of desires.

Shri Omguru of Omkardham Tirth healing temple, the blunt times

Founded by Omguru, an 80% disabled spiritual healer, this temple defies every traditional definition of faith. “This is not a place to wash away your sins,” Omguru emphasizes, “This is a divine doctor’s clinic—where people come to be cured of pain, healed from worldly struggles, and granted their heartfelt wishes.”

A Vision Born in Suffering and Divinely Guided

Omguru’s journey began in 1999, guided by a saint of no particular religion who recognized his extraordinary spiritual connection. That saint advised him to establish a place of worship, not for traditional penance, but for human welfare.

Drawing on spiritual disciplines like Aura Chakra Kundali and Aura Prashna Kundali, Omguru identified Panva as the divinely ordained site—visited hundreds of times by Suryavidantya Dev, the lesser-known but powerful Yuvraj of Indralok, and protected by Kshetrapal Vir, the celestial guardian.

“I could have chosen ease,” says Omguru, “but my body’s suffering was nothing compared to the suffering I saw in others. I knew this temple had to be built.”

A Monument of Faith and Healing

Despite immense physical challenges, construction of Shri Omkardham Tirth began in 2009 and was completed by 2015. Before laying the first brick, Omguru sought spiritual consent through divine rituals and mantras. He even paid higher-than-market prices for the sacred land to respect its divine lineage.

The temple houses five powerful deities: Omkar Parshwanath Bhagwan,Kalidukh Bhanjak Kshetrapal Vir,Omkar Kuber Dev,Om Lakshmi Devi, and Guru Mandir

It’s said that even Lord Krishna arrived here via his Pushpak Viman to eliminate evil forces during Dwapar Yuga, blessing the land with divine energy.

Open to All, Beyond Religion and Caste

“This temple is not bound by religion, caste, or belief,” says a devotee from Surat. “Here, everyone is welcome—because pain has no religion, and neither does healing.”

From common villagers to affluent city-dwellers, people from across India flock to Panva with prayers for marriage, childbirth, career, or recovery from chronic illness—and leave with miraculous tales of hope.

Shri Omkardham Tirth in Gujarat stands as a beacon of divine compassion, built not on dogma but on the universal need for relief and joy. In an age where spirituality often feels distant, this temple makes it personal—offering solace, not sermons; healing, not judgment.

As Omguru himself puts it, “Here, you don’t seek to escape the world—you come to embrace it, healed and whole.”
