SGCCI set to launch online international platform to connect Gujarat with world buyers

South Gujarat industrialists to make resolution to increase exports in presence of Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya

Surat :  The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI) is all set to launch a unique business initiative to connect the industrialists in Gujarat with Indian buyers in different parts of the world through online international platform.

Under the banner of SGCCI’s Global Connect Mission 84, the organization is poised to introduce an online international platform. This platform aims to bring together approximately 84,000 industrialists from Gujarat and an equal number of Indian industrialists settled worldwide onto a singular business platform. SGCCI’s role in this initiative is to act as a catalyst, facilitating the integration of budding exporters from Gujarat and significantly contributing to the nation’s export landscape.

For the first time, more than 500 industrialists from the Surat and South Gujarat region are set to make a significant resolution in the presence of Union Minister for Health, Chemicals, and Fertilisers, Mansukh Mandaviya on September 2. This move is taken to actively contribute to the Central Government’s ambitious goal of achieving $1 trillion in exports by 2027.

SGCCI aims to enhance exports and explore ways in which the industry can align with the government’s aspirations.

The interactive meeting with Mandaviya will provide a platform for candid discussions between young entrepreneurs, industrialists, and Union Minister.With a focus on elevating exports, the event will also shed light on the government’s strategic plans to achieve the $1 trillion export target and the support available for the industry.

Ramesh Vaghasia, President of SGCCI, said, “This interactive session with Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya will offer valuable insights into boosting exports, the government’s roadmap for achieving the $1 trillion export goal by 2027, and the comprehensive assistance offered to industry professionals.”

He further elaborated, “Entrepreneurs from South Gujarat are poised to make a collective resolution to ramp up their respective product exports, thereby playing a pivotal role in reaching the government’s export target.”

The entrepreneurs and industrialists from the sectors such as chemicals and fertilisers, textiles, diamond, gems and jewellery, solar, information technology, engineering, defense products etc. will participate in the meeting.
