Surat | Gujarat — The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI) president Nikhil Madrasi has been appointed to various prestigious industry bodies at the national level.
SGCCI president Nikhil Madrasi has been appointed as an elected member of the managing committee of ASSOCHAM – Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India, New Delhi, as a nominated member of the national executive committee of FICCI – Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry, New Delhi, as a nominated member of the managing committee of (IMC) – Indian Merchant Chamber, Mumbai and as a nominated member of the managing committee of GCCI – Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ahmedabad.
His appointments will bring many benefits to the industries of South Gujarat, such as being able to make representations at the national and international levels for the interests of the industries, which will convey the needs of South Gujarat to the Central Government. Effective participation in the policy-making process for trade and industry will be possible, which will give a boost to the industrial development of the region.
