SCET’s SSIP Cell and IIC Host Elevator Pitch Event in Surat

Surat : The SSIP cell of Sarvajanik College of Engineering and Technology (SCET), in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) – SCET, recently organized an Elevator Pitch event. The event, which took place on April 25, 2023, was coordinated by Prof. Dipali Kasat, Prof. Pranav Lapsiwala, Prof. Utpal Pandya, and Prof. Aniket Tandel.

The Elevator Pitch event was arbitrated by two experts, Sanjay Punjabi, Founder, President at TiE, and Nimisha Parekh, Henna Artist, Co-founder of MehndiCultr LLP. The event aimed to make the students aware of the current technological advancements and encourage them to contemplate the current problems, innovate, and present their ideas. The event also focused on enhancing the entrepreneurship ecosystem of the college.

Nimisha Parekh inspired the students with her innovative ideas in the field of mehndi and encouraged them to think creatively. The Elevator Pitch event helped the participants to bring out new ideologies, improve their presentation and leadership skills, and enhance their entrepreneurial spirit and creativity.

In today’s technical world, creative thinking and innovation are essential skills, and this event helped students to acquire knowledge with ease and enthusiasm in the area of startups. The event provided an excellent platform for the students to explore their ideas and helped to enhance the creativity in their minds.

The Elevator Pitch event organized by the SSIP cell of SCET in collaboration with IIC was a great success, and it will undoubtedly help the students to think more innovatively and enhance their entrepreneurial skills. The college authorities are planning to organize more such events in the future to encourage students to think outside the box and come up with innovative ideas that can benefit society as a whole.
